The Cabinet office will provide the program for 4 locations across Japan, including Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo-Kobe Consortium which were selected as “Startup Ecosystem Global Hub City” on July 2020, in cooperation with JETRO.
Top tier global accelerators, Techstars and WiL, will operate the program for 8 weeks from the beginning of February.
50 startups recommended by the selected cities join the program.
Through the program, it is expected that participating startups will build strong networks with global investors and business partners, and get opportunities for expanding their business and funding globally.
Osaka startup ecosystem consortium has recommended following 5 startups.
Osaka Business Development Agency (OBDA) will support them as the secretariat of the consortium.
