INTRODUCTION
Although we run by online for 2 days this time , originally Japan Seattle AI Innovation Meetup is 3 days event for key decision-makers from major Japanese companies to meet up with AI innovators in Seattle.
For the Japanese delegation, 1st day is to meet with the Washington State Department of Commerce to have a briefing on innovation climate in Washington. Also, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe will provide the delegation with a session regarding how to do business transactions with startups. At Japanese Consulate General, startups selected by IFC will do a pitch to the delegation. 2nd day starts from corporate visit to platform provider learning their latest development and alliance strategy. Delegation wishes to have up to date information and personal contact with key people inside platform providers to determine their technology directions and their innovation strategy. Its afternoon is the Japan Seattle AI Innovation Meetup pitch event, where Japanese corps to present pain point and shopping list for AI community of Seattle. 3rd day is back-to-back, one-on-one meetings with innovators will take place. IFC will coordinate these meetings such that all meetings are set up according to each Japanese company’s technology needs.
